Vintage Rope-Braided Low Bun Updo // Hair Tutorial

In this hair tutorial I will try to show you how to recreate this
vintage style, rope-braided, low bun, updo that I did on my sister-in-law.

First step, leave two pieces of hair on
either side of your face, but take the large center
and twist it up into a bun positioned slightly low
on your head.

Secure it in place with bobby pins.

Next take one of the sections hair you left out
and do a simple two-strand rope braid by twisting
one strand towards the right then cross it to the left side.
Repeat with the piece that is now on the right and continue
on down the entire length of hair.

Wrap the rope over, around, and under the bun securing
with more pins.  Do the exact same thing to the other side,
At this point you can decorate the hairstyle with flowers,
pearls, or anything you like, but it is just as lovely plain too!

I hope that this was helpful and explanatory.  Happy braiding! :)
