About Me

Hey y'all, my name is Alice Wright.  I am (as of writing this in 2014) a 20-year-old, Christian, country girl, homeschool graduate, married to the most wonderful husband in the world, Jesse Wright, and mother to our beautiful son, Gavin.  I was raised in a very, godly home with my parents and older brother in northeast Alabama where my husband, son, and I still live.  The following sentences are a just a few facts about me.  My parents homeschooled me from kindergarten to 12th grade which I am very grateful and appreciative for.  I became a Christian at age six. My family and I have traveled around playing music in our family band "The Carrell Family" during all of my teen years.

At age 18, I married the love of my life, Jesse Wright, (about 5 years after we met) and early this past spring, our little man, Gavin, was born.  We are a young Christian family that is striving to build a good foundation for our future generations by teaching Godly principals, making our farm self-sufficient, and working together in our home-based businesses.  Check out our farm blog too at www.thewrightfamilyfarm.blogspot.com.

My goal for this blog is that it will encourage and inspire girls and ladies of all ages and in every walk of life, to love the Lord with all their heart, all their soul, all their mind, and all their strength.  I want to share, from a common, every day life, a Christian perspective on some of main things that effect our daily lives such as clothing, hairstyles, cooking delicious meals on a tight budget, young mother ideas (because I am one :) ), beauty tips, but most of all provide encouragement and inspiration.

God's love for you is unfailing and without limit; it's so easy to just get caught up in the world and the stresses of life, but we don't need to lose sight of the joy that is found in Christ!

"Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."  Philippians 4:8

Thank you so very much for stopping by!!! :)
